Welcome to River Linnet Solar Farm! This is a proposed solar project near Poulters Lane, north of Whepstead, IP29 5SW. The site is located in West Suffolk.
This site will generate enough renewable energy to power the equivalent of 12,120 homes each year. The proposed solar farm will have a capacity of 40MW.
The location was carefully chosen. The site benefits from intermittent hedgerow screening. There are no public footpaths within the site or surrounding area, and it is not located within any statutory landscape or heritage designations, making it a great spot for a solar farm.
