We’ve now submitted our planning application to West Suffolk Council which you can view on the Council’s planning register under reference DC/25/0909/FUL. Thank you to everyone who shared feedback at the public exhibition and during the consultation. We’ve listened carefully and made a number of changes to improve the proposal. The key updates are outlined below:

• The application area has been significantly reduced from 79 hectares (197 acres) to 57.65 hectares (142 acres) through the removal of the north eastern fields.
• The proposal now includes additional landscaping within the development boundary (in the form of nearly 4km of new native hedgerow planting) to provide screening to nearby properties. This landscaping will also provide screening and act as a wind barrier from the B1066 to protect the local road network.
• A new permissive publicly accessible circular walking route is now proposed. This will extend from Chedburgh Road towards the site. It will then loop around the site, before heading back to Chedburgh Road. This will be available to use by members of the public. New hedgerow planting is proposed along sections of this new route.
• We have altered the fence line in the north west corner of the site to pull this away from Poulters Lane, creating more space to allow for additional planting alongside the A143 (Poulters Lane).
